Full Description
July 2002. Geophysical Survey.
Survey carried out in order to locate existing drainage system and other subsurface features.
Archaeological features included a probable trackway running east to west and a possible building.
See report (S1) for further details. The results of this work are also summarised in (S2).

October 2002. Test Pitting.
Eight test pits excavated around margins of main playing field prior to replacement of existing drainage.
No archaeological features or finds were recorded.
