Amended by P. Beers (HES), 19 June 2020.

Timber-framed house of two cells with central chimneystack. Though the chimneystack is not in its own bay, the upper floors are insecurely attached and there are blocked doors at the east end. Integral mullioned windows to first floor and attic seem to rule out this being a hallhouse. Dateable detail is 17th century. Added timber framed bay about 1700.
