Listing Description Excerpt:
"17th century timber-frame house. Plastered. Steep pantile roof with gabled ends. Brick chimney stack off centre with flues lozenge-shaped on plan. Two storeys. Three widely spaced windows. Modern 2 and 3-light casements with glazing bars. On south side a 19th century porch in front of stack."
Information from (S1).
Please consult the National Heritage List for England (S1) for the current listing details.
Amended by P. Beers (HES), 19 June 2020.
Timber-framed house of two cells with central chimneystack. Though the chimneystack is not in its own bay, the upper floors are insecurely attached and there are blocked doors at the east end. Integral mullioned windows to first floor and attic seem to rule out this being a hallhouse. Dateable detail is 17th century. Added timber framed bay about 1700.
See report (S2) in file.
