Map

January 2001. NMP.
A cluster of seven nissen huts is visible as a structure at TF 770 451 - TF 771 451 on 1945 aerial photographs (S1 and S2). These huts are only around 300m west of a coastal battery (NHER 31113) and there are other military structures in the area. The huts are next to the Royal West Norfolk Golf Club and this appears to have been used as some kind of military stronghold during World War Two. The foundations of three or four of the huts can still be seen on 1972 aerial photographs (S3).
A. Hunt (NMP), 29 January 2001.
