Map

January 2001. NMP
A section of bank can be seen at TF 6593 4399 to TF 6963 4394 as an earthwork on the 1944 aerial photographs (S1). It is an irregular linear feature some 120m long, with one long section and a small section to the southeast. This feature would appear to have been a World War Two defensive feature, possibly blocking a path which led up from the beach, although it is not clear.
A. Hunt (NMP), 22 January 2001.
