Full Description
January 2001. NMP.
Four areas of ridge and furrow are visible as earthworks around TF 69 42 on the 1944 aerial photographs (S1). The more northerly areas are still visible on 1971 APs (TF 691 429 and TF 692 429) (S2) and also on 1972 APs (S3), while the two more southerly areas (TF 694 428 and TF 693 428) have been ploughed out. The ridge and furrow is fairly narrow and straight, which would suggest a post medieval date.
A. Hunt (NMP), 23 January 2001.
