Map

January 2001. NMP.
Four areas of ridge and furrow are visible as earthworks around TF 72 44 on 1945 aerial photograph (S1). The features can be seen, albeit more faintly on a 1971 aerial photograph (S2). The ridge and furrow is fairly regular and narrow, which would suggest a post medieval date.
A. Hunt (NMP), 24 January 2001.

January 2002. NMP.
There appears to be a further four areas of ridge and furrow visible as earthworks in this area on the Hunting Survey 1969 aerial photographs (S3)-(S4). They are located to the south of those previously mapped by Suffolk County Council, for NMP. These four additional areas of ridge and furrow are located at TF7202 4399, TF7205 4395, TF7212 4395 and TF7202 4391 (centre points). As well as this the largest area previously mapped (TF7216 4410) has been extended to the southwest (it’s centre point now being about TF7214 4409).
H. Clare (NMP), 9 May 2002.
