Full Description
August 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Group of cropmarks mapped; visible from 1974 Ordnance Survey aerial photographs (S1).
At TF 8449 4266 is a three sided rectilinear enclosure, measuring at least 25m across by 18m. To the west of this is a linear ditched feature, which may be part of a trackway, although it is only a single ditch. It runs from TF 8456 4264 to TF 8454 4270, at which point the feature splits in two and forks for a further 75m in both directions. Both of these features were mapped from 1974 Ordnance Survey photography (S1) and are of unknown date.
S. Massey (NMP), 12 August 2002.
