On 1955 RAF aerial photographs (S1), there is the cropmark of a linear feature running from TF 8236 4401 to TF 8202 4497, measuring 145m and between 1.5m and 3.5 wide. This is likely to a post medieval drainage ditch, related to the reclamation of the saltmarsh.
