Map

October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Possible cropmark of linear bank running from TF 8157 4392 to TF 8206 4394. It is showing in two stretches, although it is likely to have been one monument originally, measuring 500m and varying in width between 4m and 7m across. This feature is only visible on the 1974 OS aerial photographs (S1). It is possible that this cropmark is picking up on a band or ridge of differential geology, although it may be a levelled earthwork bank of unknown date.
S. Massey (NMP), 4 October 2002.
