Full Description
August 2002. Norfolk NMP.
The site consists of two parallel earthwork ditches, both approximately 40m long, visible on 1967 aerial photography (S1). The western one has several shorter ditches perpendicular to it. Centred on TF 6810 4246 is a possible rectilinear enclosure, at least 17m by 24m. Only the northeastern part of this feature is visible. These ditches look quite clear on the 1946 RAF aerial photographs (S2), it is possible that these features are relatively recent, although they could well be medieval to post medieval in date. They probably represent old property or land boundaries.
S. Massey (NMP), 29 August 2002.
