Summary

Baithenwaites Farmhouse is a timber framed lobby entrance plan house, with two storeys and an attic, dating to the mid 17th century. It has somewhat elaborate carved details and a later roof laid on top of the original, as well as 19th century brick gable walls.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"17th century. Timber-frame, plastered with later red brick end walls. Steeply-pitched gable-ended roof of black glazed pantiles. Two storeys and attic (attic windows in gable ends). Three widely spaced windows. Two and three-light casements, some modem. Later gabled porch. Central brick chimney stacks. Modern lean-to at rear."
