October/November 2002. Metal detecting.
Late Saxon copper alloy stirrup-strap mount, very worn and corroded, oval with an originally trilobate apex (broken across rivet-hole, upper lobe missing) and expanded base, cast with ?mask between symmetrical looping shapes, angled flange with fixing hole (compare with S1). 11th century.
