Map

Before 2003 at various times. Found while digging in garden.
Rear of 63/35 Railway Road
Footings of a large demolished structure; two of these marked on (S1) in file. Sample of brick seen by E. Rose (NLA). Very unusual, apparantly a waster, hard to date, but post medieval and pre late 19th century. Note brickworks (NHER 13859) to south which informant believes may have extended this far north. Could this have anything to do with the strange tilemaking practices here in the 1840s?
See NHER 13859 and NHER 2441.
E. Rose (NLA), 20 January 2003.
