Summary

An archaeological evaluation carried out on this site by the NAU in 2003 revealed a pit of possible post-medieval date. Several prehistoric flints were also recovered from the site.

February 2003. Trial Trench.
Single evaluation trench excavated within footprint of proposed new dwelling. Contexts 1-5.
Part of a pit, of uncertain but possibly post-medieval date was the only archaeological feature present.
Several prehistoric flints were also recovered from the site.
