Summary

These two cottages began life as a late 17th or early 18th century one and a half storeyed timber framed building. In the 18th or 19th century the building was converted into two cottages.

The nucleus of the pair of cottages appears to be a one and a half storeyed timber framed building, late 17th or early 18th century. Possibly in the 18th century or more likely in the 19th, the original building was converted into two cottages.
