Summary

A medieval copper alloy seal matrix, inscribed with the name 'Benet of Botesdale' was recovered at an unknown date somewhere in Diss parish. Poorly provenanced objects recovered during metal-detecting in the parish between 2018 and 2022 include a Late Iron Age/Roman harness fitting or terret ring fragment and a medieval coin.
