Summary

Metal-detecting before 2003 and between 2007 and 2017 recovered an Early Neolithic flint scraper; Roman and medieval pottery sherds; Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval and post-medieval jettons; post-medieval tokens and a number of Late Bronze Age to post-medieval and undatable metal objects. These metal objects include a Late Bronze Age sword; a Late Iron Age lipped terret fragment; a Roman furniture fitting, brooch and knife handle; Early Saxon brooches; a Late Saxon strap-end; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval seal matrices, a mirror case, ampulla, key and harness mounts; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments and weights and a post-medieval Jew's harp and finger rings.
