November 2002-May 2003. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of topsoil stripping and groundworks at Castle Public House. Contexts 1-4.
Excavation did not reach subsoil.
Some unstratified Early-Middle Iron Age, Roman and medieval to post medieval pottery sherds.
Post-medieval chamber pot.
