Summary

An early 19th century two storey house with a rear wing and 20th century bay windows. Some of the lower brickwork indicates an earlier date (late 18th century), and it may be that the upper floor was added to an existing structure.

Listed (S1) as early 19th century house of two storeys with rear wing and 20th century bay windows. However details of bricks show that façade is pre about 1780 and that the rear wing has ground floor of that date and upper floor of later date.
Home of the historian Quarles whose name with the date 1835 is carved on a brick.
