16th-century timber frame. Two storeys. Steep pantile roof. Four bays to street. 18th century sash windows and 19th century doorcase to left. Two gables to rear, plus 18th century brick wing. Reason for 16th-century date in Listing Description (S1) not given, but note that the former stable yard was present before the mid 17th century, as No 21 to south has always been a corner house.
