Summary

This house was built around 1700. It has brick walls and a thatched roof and may feature an earlier timber frame. It is unusually large for an isolated house in marshland.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"House. c1700. Rendered brick with thatch roof and coped gables. Brick left ridge and rendered brick right end stacks. L-plan with wing to rear right, the main range a 3-unit baffle-entry plan. Single storey and attic. Four-window range of 1-, 2-, and 3-light casements with 3 similar dormers over."
