February 2003. Metal detecting.
Post medieval silver gilt dress pin with hollow-cast spherical head (diameter 12mm), applied filigree and granulated ornament in the form of circlets punctuated by knops, a large knop extends from the apex of the sphere, a raised horizontal band divides thae head into two equal hemispheres, shank bent, length 73mm, weight 4.65g. 16th century.
