Summary

This 14th or 15th century hall house originally had no upper floor and an open hearth. There was a cross passage at the low end of the hall. In the 17th century a brick stack was inserted over the hearth and an upper floor put in over the hall. In the 18th century an extension was built to the southwest. The house was split into cottages in the 18th or 19th century and the north façade was rebuilt in brick in the late 19th century. The house has been remodelled in the 20th century.
