J. Allen (NLA), 30 June 2003. Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 18 May 2015.

A thorough review of the available aerial imagery for this area as part of a Norfolk NMP project in 2010 identified nothing of potential archaeological interest at this location. A similarly-aligned bank and ditch feature was though identified on the same the aerial photographs, a little way to the south (part of a group of features recorded as NHER 54549). It therefore seems reasonably likely that this was the feature observed in 2001 and the location shown in (S1) is incorrect. This suggestion is supported by recent fieldwork at this location, which failed to identify any evidence for a feature of this extent and orientation.
P. Watkins (HES), 19 January 2026.
