Summary

Metal-detecting in 2003 recovered an Early Bronze Age flat axehead and medieval finds including a lead seal matrix inscribed S'RADULFI : DAGGARO (the seal of Ralph Daggaro) who may be Ralph Daghie who lived in the neighbouring Grimston parish in the 14th century. Metal-detecting in 2010 recovered an Early Saxon bow brooch, medieval pottery, a post-medieval mount, a modified late post-medieval coin and an undated unidentified object.
