Summary

Metal-detecting between 2003 and 2015 recovered post-medieval pottery sherds; Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and tokens and Roman to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include Roman brooches; an Early Saxon sword belt fitting and wrist clasp; a Middle to Late Saxon strap-end and hooked tag; Late Saxon horse bit link; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval spindle whorl, pot mend, finger ring, harness pendant and harness mount; medieval/post-medieval rings, cloth seals and a rowel spur; a post-medieval sword belt fitting, key, rowel spur fragment, crotal bell, thimble, harness mount, lead cloth seal, weight and length of lead window came.
