Map

January 2003. Norfolk NMP.
The feature is sub rounded to irregular in plan, with a maximum diameter of 64m (S1). The feature appears as a light coloured cropmark, with a parched appearance, and probably represents the site of a saltern mound. The location of the feature, to the north of the Sea Bank (NHER 2187) would suggest a later medieval date for the use of the mound, which would be consistent with other sites in the general area.
M. Brennand (NMP), 14 February 2003.
