Summary

A ditch and a possible bank are showing up as cropmarks just to the south of Manor farm, Thornham. The cropmarks are visible on RAF 1945 aerial photographs. It is possible that these are the remains of a road or trackway the date of which is uncertain. It may be that this is the continuation of the road to the SW (HER13773) which is also showing as a cropmark and is likely to be at least post-medieval in date, thus suggesting a similar date for this site.
