Summary

A site visit to this location in 2001 noted an apparent extension of the warren/county boundary bank. Sections of the bank here were found to survive up to a height of 0.6m although several Ordnance Survey maps did not show an earthwork bank at this location.

Assessment of proposed Thetford Southern Link Road.
An apparent extension of warren/county boundary bank was noted (Suffolk SMR entry BNH 049). The bank survives up to a height of 0.6m.
This site is not shown on Ordnance Survey 1884, 1094 or 1926 as a bank.
