Summary
According to documentary sources a medieval chapel dedicated to St Mary Magdalene was located somewhere within Thetford parish. This chapel is mentioned in the Valor Ecclesiasticus of 1535 but the exact location of the chapel has not been determined.

Exact site unknown.
'It is no parish curch but distant from said parish church of St Cuthb[er]ts one quarter of a myle...And the said Chapell is coveed with read and not with leade.'
