Map

January 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Four narrow lengths of bank are visible to the south of Ken Hill (New Hall). The features are aligned in approximately north to south, east to west and northwest to southeast directions, and have the fragmentary traces of a narrow ditch on one or both sides and an apparent flattened top (S1). The banks are not respected by the present tracks and are presumably of some antiquity. They may represent land division boundaries, predating the house, or an early system of garden division.
To the east is an irregular series of low irregular banks with a north to south length of 44m and a width of 25m. This feature is unusual but possibly represents the site of a structure or garden feature.
M. Brennand (NMP), 19 January 2002.
