Full Description
August 2002. Norfolk NMP.
There is a structure visible at TF6067 3181 on 1969 aerial photographs (S1). It appears to be almost hook shaped (with a curving linear down one side, it comes to a slight point and the other side starts to return) and it is approximately 15m by 5m in size. The exact nature of the feature is unclear - it does appear such that it may well be a wreck, but it could just be marine debris, the photo does not show enough to be clear.
(Note: The location of this site is not accurate as to map it an unrectified photograph had to be inserted, and the fit was not particularly good. The photograph was a vertical at a scale of 1:10000 - so it is a reasonable approximation).
H. Clare (NMP), 22 August 2002.
