Map

October 2002, Norfolk NMP.
The remains of what appears to be a wreck of unknown date is visible on the sand bank of Bob Hall’s sand. It can be seen on the BKS 1988 aerial photographs (S1) and CUCAP images from 1986 (S2). It is located at TF9169 4682 (lying east/west) and in shape it appears almost hook like, with the northern side and western end showing. Although this appears to be a wreck it is quite small and so not completely clear, therefore there is always the possibility that it is just some form of marine debris.
(Due to the location of the site rectifying the photograph was impossible. Therefore an unrectified vertical aerial photograph was inserted to scale. Although this makes the location only approximate, the fact that it was a vertical aerial photograph means that it is better than just sketching by eye).
H. Clare (NMP), 11 October 2002.
