Full Description
This record previously documented the results of all evaluation work undertaken between 2003 and 2006 along the proposed route of the A47 Blofield to North Burlingham dualling. Evidence recovered from fields elsewhere along the proposed route during this work is now recorded under NHERs 25248, 25942, 55321, 60802-60811 and 64820-64821, 64824 and 64826-64827.
September-October 2003. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of A47 Blofield to North Burlingham dualling. Single 20m wide strips examined at east and northern edges of field (Transects A and D respectively).
1 prehistoric flint core and 3 flakes.
1 ?prehistoric burnt flint.
4 modern pottery sherds.
