Summary

A watching brief in this location recorded no archaeological finds or features. However, features were reported by contractors undertaking shoring works along the waterfront, but these had been obscured by high tidal waters by the time archaeologists visited the site.

Monitoring of remedial works by Norfolk County Council to the river revetment beside Abbey Lane. No contexts used.
No archaeological finds or features were recorded in this location. However, contractors reported possible archaeological features exposed during shoring works along the waterfront, but these had been obscured by high tidal waters by the time archaeologists visited the site a week later.
