Summary

In 1980 the sherds of a single large cremation urn were found here by workmen digging a trench for the below ground passageway. The exact site of the find is unknown, with only an approximate location noted but the urn is believed to lie near to a Roman burial found in 1861.

Given to [1] who was visiting the hospital for the day as she showed some interest (recovered from waste paper basket!). Held by NCM.
Site of find unobtainable by the time we saw the material.
