The cropmark of an undated, probably medieval or post medieval, field boundary ditch is visible on aerial photographs (S1). The cropmark extends for 185m between TG 3594 2830 and TG 3612 2829. The boundary appears to continue the line of a curving field boundary and footpath shown further to the west on the second edition Ordnance Survey map (25 inch, 1902 to 1907) and is shown on the 1841 East Ruston tithe map (S2 and S3).
