Summary

A group of earthworks of probable medieval to post medieval date are visible on RAF aerial photographs from 1946. These are now levelled and the site redeveloped. They consist of a circular mound, which may be a building platform, and a series of parallel ditches and a bank. These are likely to relate to previous agricultural practices and the layout of fields, preserved in pasture.
