Full Description
Before 18 May 2003. Finds of pottery sherds on site, formerly arable, striped for church car park.
Roman wall of small jar, micaceous greyware (weighing 17g).
Early Saxon or Middle Saxon upright rim of jar or bowl, hand made, oxidised reddish brown, organic and sand inclusions, smoothed surfaces (7g).
Late Saxon one jar rim and two body (one from storage jar) Thetford type (44g).
Medieval: one jar rim and five body unglazed (21g).
Medieval: one body Grimston, probably once externally glazed (4g).
