Summary

The listed building description dates this property to the 17th century but gives only a brief description of the exterior with 20th century casements. However, photographs supplied in 2003 show the house with one end of the roof considerably higher than the other; with chimneystack just into the taller part. This is often an indication of a hall-house floored over and given a new parlour end in the late 16th/17th century.
