Full Description
Listed building description dates to 17th century but gives only a brief description of the exterior with 20th century casements. However, photographs supplied in 2003 show house with one end of the roof considerably higher than the other; with chimneystack just into the taller part. The lower section has dormers. This is often an indication of a hall-house floored over and given a new parlour end in the late 16th/17th century.
Photographs and architectural plans in file.
E. Rose (NLA) 22 July 2003.
