To east of track between bridges over Well Creek and Old Bedford River, on west bank of Great Ouse.
Carrstone and white bricks without skintlings.
Cruciform plan, arm to west being half polygonal.
Hipped roof now of corrugated iron.
West side with brick jambs, and flat arched windows in toothed surrounds under hoodmoulds to each side of west arm. Latter has small sides of alternate brick and carrstone, angled sides with hoodmoulded windows, and west side formerly with door, now bricked up (both with diagonal and horizontal skintlings).
The door may be the Gothick doorway now on the east end of the east arm; small window by it; blocked door to south; the remainder covered by recent sheds.
North and south end walls blank.
Chimney on north arm near centre and on north side east projection.
Poor condition, walls cracked.
Reason for siting obscure, not shown on any early map though style suggests date around 1800.
