Full Description
Purchased 2003, allegedly found in Snettisham.
Seal matrix: copper alloy, flat with rib ending in pierced lug on reverse. Pointed oval, 42 x 31mm. No legend. Border of running scroll with bunches of grapes around a pointed oval of dots within which a lion, facing left below a branch with four vine leafs, treads on grapes. An extremely unusual matrix.
