Summary

A late 19th century former livery stable, probably on the site of an earlier building. The site has been redeveloped for housing under the name Clarence Mews. The façade has been retained.

Former livery stable (an establishment where horses are boarded and hired).
Grand terracotta façade of 1893.
Main area with metal roof about 1900 but an earlier roofed court existed before 1883 and the footprint was established by the early 19th century suggesting an earlier establishment on site.

Previously a snooker club, the site has been redeveloped for housing under the name Clarence Mews. The façade has been retained (S3).
