Summary

This is a painted brick and stucco Tudor style house of 1840s. The brick façade covers a more simple clay lump structure that matches the clay lump outbuildings. The building has three bays, and an integral one storey coach house with ornate barge boards. The double doors of the coach house have been replaced with windows.

March 1977. Listed, Grade II.
Painted brick and stucco Tudor style house of 1840s. Slate roof with gables. Two storeys and attic. Three bays, outer bays project under gables. Mullioned and transomed windows with dripmoulds. Central porch have octagonal turrets, ogee finials and crocketted pinnacles. Four centred doorway below triple quatrefoil. To left, integral coach house, one storey, ornate barge boards, double doors and window.

16 October 2003. Visit.
Owner states that only the façade is brick, the rear is clay lump. There was a central rear projection, the area to each side of this has now been infilled. Opening lights of windows replaced. Double doors removed from coach house at some date and replaced by windows. Clay lump outbuildings to north. Interior of house has narrow winding central stair.
