Map

March 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of a road or track and field boundary ditches are visible on Ordnance Survey aerial photographs (S1). The road continues the alignment of Calthorpe Road from the southeast towards Harveys Farm for a distance of 130m. It appears to have a compacted or metalled surface and is intermittently flanked by ditches on both sides. Extending to the northeast and southwest across the road are post-medieval field boundary ditches. This field boundary is shown on the Ingham tithe map (around 1840?), but the road layout depicted is the same as survives at present (S2). No evidence for the road shown as a cropmark was marked on the tithe map. The grid reference listed lies in the middle of the road.
