Full Description
November 2003.
Complicated timber-framed house. Central section late medieval, possibly a hall house, cross passage plan. Grand and ornate parlour block added in late 16th century; retains painted decoration. Witch bottle found in hearth. Low end rebuilt to larger scale in mid 17th century. Façade of brick added in the late 19th century.
