Summary

Harris Green Farmhouse, in Hardwick, is a small plastered 17th century timber framed house, with a thatched roof with gabled ends. This one storey building has an off centre brick chimney stack with a plank door in front.

Timber framed house, cross passage plan with stub-screen, but also with lobby entrance beside stack. Details of timber framing crude and late. Apparently a very late survival of cross passage plan in mid to late 17th century.
