15 August 2003. Metal detecting.
Medieval copper alloy buckle, very corroded, oval frame with ornate outside edge, two knops and flank pin rest, offset narrowed bar, pin-slot in rectangular plate folded widthways and recessed for frame. Copper alloy rivet at attachment end 45 x 19mm. 13th - 14th century.
