Map

March 2004. Norfolk NMP
Earthworks of post medieval water meadows are visible on 1943 RAF aerial photographs (S1). These are located in two groups on either side of the river around TG39662786 and TG39502773. The earthworks had been levelled and were under arable cultivation by 1972 (S2). These water meadows form part of a more extensive system of water meadows along this river valley, only part of which survived as earthworks in the mid 20th century.
