Two World War Two zigzag slit trenches are visible on aerial photographs from 1940 (S1) along the coast at Weybourne, associated with the military training camp (NHER 11335). The site is centred on TG 1158 4352, although this does not reflect the location of trenches which are centred on TG 1157 4355 and TG 1159 4350. Both the trenches are zigzag in plan and are between 9-13m in length. It seems likely that these were constructed as part of military training.
